ORDERING THE PROGRAM & LICENSING AGREEMENT
Once you have read and signed the license agreement and returned it to us with your order form and payment, you will receive your program pack within 10 days which contains the comprehensive manual complete with lesson plans for each sport, CD-ROM, A3 posters & A4 Exhibition banner. The licensing fee is a once of payment and there are no ongoing fees or royalties payable to us. We still own all the rights and trademarks to the Sportybots name and program and the license agreement entitles each centre to use our program, name, logo’s and trademarks for the purpose of running Sportybots programs in their centre.
PROGRAM TYPES & AGES COVERED
There are four program types that are included in the manual and you can choose to run all of them or just one, it’s up to you. They can also be run as term classes, a school holiday program or both.
- Teenybots (1.5 to 2.5 years old)
- Minibots (2.5 to 4 years old)
- Girlbots (3 to 7 years old)
- Juniorbots (4 to 8 Years old)
Each centre determines the program fees charged to parents and keeps all income earnt from these fees. There are no limits on the number of classes you are able to run.
RUNNING THE PROGRAM
Running the program is easy by following the step by step guide in the manual. The manual covers everything from setting up classes, running the structure of the classes as well as step by step lesson plans. The CD contains administration forms like enrolment forms, class attendance sheets and more to help with the smooth running of the classes. You also receive posters to help advertise the program and let everyone know it’s available in your centre. We advertise the brand on a national scale through our website, parenting websites and our google presence to also direct potential customers to your centre. We receive over a thousand unique visitors to the site each month, which is increasing each month.
STAFF QUALIFICATIONS
The great thing about our program is that it has been developed, tried and tested over the past 5 years in all conditions and all levels of staff skills and abilities and has proven successful time and time again. Because the lesson plans are comprehensive, easy to follow and the games and activities are age appropriate staff do not need any specific Sportybots qualifications. Staff running the program in the centre should however meet state requirements for working with children including a police check. We have found from experience that a fun and positive attitude and the ability to effectively communicate with young children is the key to successful classes.
